New Tata Tiago EV deliveries commence
Tata Motors has commenced the deliveries of the new Tiago EV across India. It has even handed over the first batch consisting of 2,000 units of the electric hatchback to its owners. The Tiago EV was launched in late September last year with introductory prices starting at Rs 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The introductory prices were exclusively available for the first 10,000 reservations. However, Tata extended the introductory pricing to additional 10,000 bookings, due to the overwhelming response. The EV has bagged more than 20,000 reservations.

The Tiago EV is available in four variants: XE, XT, XZ+, and XZ+ Tech Lux. It comes with five distinctive colour options - Tropical Mist, Signature Teal Blue, Daytona Grey, Pristine White, and Midnight Plum.
Tata Tiago EV: Features
The electric hatchback is equipped with projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights, fog lamps, powered ORVMs with auto-fold function, cruise control, a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system by Harman, eight speakers, regen modes (0, 1, 2, and 3), over 45 'ZConnect' connected car features, smartwatch connectivity, a car start/stop switch, leatherette upholstery for the seats, a cooled glove box, TPMS, powered boot opening, follow-me headlamps, the rearview camera with parking sensors, auto headlamps, and rain-sensing wipers.
Tata Tiago EV: Range, Battery pack, and Output
The Tiago EV is available with a choice of two battery packs: 24kWh and 19.2kWh. The former provides a claimed range of 315km, while the latter has a range of 250km. An electric motor produces 75PS/114Nm or 61PS/110Nm, depending on the battery pack capacity. Tata offers it with a 3.3kW or 7.2kW home wall box charger. Notably, the EV can be re-charged in a claimed 57 minutes from 10 to 80 per cent.
